Saturday 24th January 2026 – Hill Court Farm and the Blacklands (Longdon Marsh)

About

Nick and members of WWT’s staff will lead us to look for wetland species and species of open marshland. There is a short walk to a viewing screen.

Longdon Marsh forms the existing section of a wider reclamation of wetlands in Worcestershire/Gloucestershire being undertaken by WWT.

We will have the opportunity to see how restoration at Longdon fits with WWT’s new project at Lower Swell. Click here to view the site on the WWT website.

N.B. Arrangements may change if the weather is poor.

Location

Please park at Longdon Village Hall, GL20 6AZ, where we will consolidate cars.

There are only a couple of parking places on Marsh Road near Longdon Brook, Tewkesbury GL20 6BD.
