Trip to Warnham Nature Reserve – CANCELLED

Unfortunately, we have not had much luck with this year’s trip to Warnham Nature Reserve. As many of you know, it was already postponed from January due to flooding. Although the reserve has now reopened, ongoing flood damage means that part of the boardwalk remains closed, which would significantly restrict any walk. In addition, the café will be closed next week while upgrades to the visitor centre take place. For these reasons, we have decided to cancel the walk for this year and will aim to try again in 2027.

Sandra is contacting everyone who had booked a place on the trip. This notice is for anyone else who was hoping to join us on the day.

Despite the disappointment, we do still have something to look forward to next Tuesday evening – an online talk about Corncrake conservation. The Zoom link will be sent out on Monday.
