About Winchester Local Group

The group’s aim is to actively support the work of the RSPB in the local community and to involve RSPB members and the wider public in the society’s conservation, public affairs, education, fundraising and other activities. We have regular monthly indoor meetings locally throughout the year and have occasional day trips to local nature reserves.

So if you would like to have fun and meet like-minded people, contact us and help make a difference for birds and wildlife.

We can also give talks on birds, nature and the RSPB to community groups in the local area.

For more information about our activities / events, please see our Get involved page or email WinchRSPB1974@gmail.com.

Conservation volunteering

As a group, we are not able to offer any volunteer conservation work.
Many other local organisations and conservation groups may have vacancies for this type of volunteering. For information on some of these please see here.
