Welcome to Tonbridge Local RSPB Group
Tonbridge local group is a great way to meet friendly, like-minded people in the Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Paddock Wood area while learning more about birds and wildlife.
Our events are open to everyone, though for some you need to book. It’s great if you are a member of the RSPB, but you don’t have to be, and we don’t have a separate membership for our group. Just come along.
Looking for things to do? See Our full events programme for 2023-2024 or a quick list of dates for your diary.
If you’re looking for trip reports, go to the blogs and select trip reports.
If you have any queries or comments, please get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.

Nature can't wait
England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are some of the most nature depleted countries on Earth. The pressure on our wildlife and wild spaces is immense, with habitat loss, development, the modernisation of farming, persecution, unsustainable fishing, and climate change all having a major impact. Despite commitments from governments across the UK, things are getting worse. We can’t wait any longer to ramp up our efforts to protect and restore nature.
What we need now is politicians to act. They have the power to choose a healthy natural environment which in turn means healthy people and a healthy economy. So what YOU can do is to call for action by contacting your elected representatives. We’ve produced a simple online form which means you can email your MP with a few clicks.
