About Stockport Local Group
The group’s aim is to promote and support the RSPB’s worldwide objectives, and to play an active part in fundraising and publicity.
We meet on the second Monday of each month from September to May. We have monthly speakers on a variety of natural history subjects, but the main emphasis is birds. Our outdoor field trips include coach and car trips, and new members are always welcome.

Contacting us
Before contacting us, please note that the RSPB Stockport local group predominantly organises indoor talks and outdoor activities for people who are interested in nature. We do not have the skills or facilities to take action to help birds that might be in distress. Here is the link to the RSPB page for advice and contacts if you find an injured bird.
