Lemsford Springs

Trip report for visit to Lemsford Springs on 26th Of January.

On a better morning but still cold 7 members met to visit this reserve.

We met the warden in the hides who gave a very informative talk about this reserve and its activities. We had very close views of 10+ Green Sandpipers, 2 Jack Snipe, Common Snipe, Little Egret, Grey Wagtail, Teal and a flypast Kingfisher.

On the walk around the reserve we saw 40+ redwings, mixed Tit Flocks, Goldcrests and Stock Doves.

A really good morning with 33 species seen.
