RSPB Solihull Programme of Events 2023-2024
You do not need to be a member of the RSPB (or the local group) to join us on our events, and birdwatching experience is not necessary. All evening talks will take place at Bentley Heath Community Hall, Widney Road, Bentley Heath, Solihull B93 9BQ. Admission is £3.50 for RSPB Members, £4.00 for non members, under 16’s are free. Payment can be by cash or card, and remember to bring your own mug for half time refreshments.
A donation of £1 per person would be welcome for the walks, and there may be an entry fee for some reserves.

Our last evening talk of 2023 is about Worcestershire Wildlife and will be given by Gary Farmer, who has spoken to us a number of times before. Learn what can be found in our neighbouring county. The meeting is sponsored by Experience Nature

Our first Presentation on Zoom of the season, is Cuba – A Flicker of Interest which will be presented by Oliver Smart, so it’s sure to be an interesting evening. The Meeting will open at around 7:15pm with the talk starting at 7:30pm. Joining details will be sent out on Hot News and put on the website about a week before.
Thursday 1st February
Our next presentation on Zoom is entitled Life on the Edge and is by Steve Race. Steve is based in Yorkshire and the talk focuses on the wildlife around Bempton Cliffs. Again we will open up at around 7:15pm for proceedings to start at 7:30pm. Joining details notified the preceeding week.

We return to live meetings at Bentley Heath for this illustrated talk by our own Nick Martin with Andy Waters. The talk is entitled All About Swifts and Sparrows and How to Help Them. This forms part of our Swifts and Sparrows project and will be entertaining and informative. The meeting starts at our usual time of 7:30pm and is sponsored by HV Skan
