NW LONDON RSPB GROUP will be supporting this event with a Guided Birdwalk led by Bob Husband & Frank O’Sullivan and other regular helpers. We will be looking for new species to add to the day’s list.
The walk will last approx. 2 hours finishing up in the East Marsh main bird hide. Paths can be muddy and uneven so suitable footwear recommended. The track to the main hide is often water-logged but hopefully not this weekend. There are no public toilet facilities on the site.
Wear stout footwear and suitable outdoor clothing.
Location: Meet 11.00am on the footbridge at Cool Oak Lane, West Hendon, NW9. Nearest NR Station West Hendon. Several bus routes (32, 83, 142, 183 & SL10) serve West Hendon Broadway, which is only a short walk away.
