RSPB Birdwalks take place regularly on the second Sunday of each Month. The next Birdwalk will be on Rememberance Sunday 8 November 2026. Notify Bob if you wish to attend as numbers are restricted.

Weather permitting, NW LONDON RSPB GROUP gather at 10.00 am on Cool Oak Lane footbridge for the regular second Sunday of the month Birdwalk.
The walks usually lasts 2-3hrs finishing up in the East Marsh main bird hide (Key required). Sometimes we visit the Main Hide first if there is something of particular interest present in the East Marsh or the weather inclement.
Paths can be muddy and uneven so suitable footwear is recommended. Also wear appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather conditions. The path to the main hide is often water-logged. There are NO public toilet facilities on the site.
RSPB Birdwalks are intended for Adult RSPB Members. Children MUST be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian.
Location: Meet by the bridge at Cool Oak Lane, West Hendon, NW9. Nearest NR Station West Hendon. Several bus routes (32, 83, 142, 183 & SL10) serve West Hendon Broadway, which is only a short walk away.
