Wildlife of Costa Rica an illustrated talk by Tony Waller

Costa Rica is a country with coastlines on to the Pacific on the southwest and the Caribbean to the Northeast. The centre of Costa Rica is mountainous with rainforest, cloud forest and Cerro Chirripo the highest point at 3,819m. It is a country with 14 volcanoes and the largest lake is Lake Arena. It has a tropical climate and has the greatest biodiversity in all of Latin America. Big cats, tapirs, howler monkeys exotic birds, insects are just a few of the creatures to be seen. Come along to hear Tony talk about the wonderful wildlife of the area.
