Field Trip to RSPB Pulborough Brooks – 28/04/2024

With luck visiting RSPB Pulborough Brooks at this time of year should give us the chance to both hear and see a variety of our summer migrants. Species that should feature include Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Common Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat and possibly Garden Warbler. Nightingales on the reserve should be singing heartily and with patience we will try to obtain views of this incredible songster.

There should be a supporting cast of common passerines and hopefully a raptor or two. Perhaps some Hobbies will be over the brooks? There should also be a few waders to see.

The meeting is free to join for RSPB North East Hants Local Group Members (Booking Essential).

Non Members of the group are welcome to attend for a suggested donation of £3.00 per person. Advance Booking is essential, so please contact the Outdoor Meetings Organiser on 01276 29434.
