Welcome to Mid Nene Local Group
This is the website of the RSPB Mid Nene Local Group. RSPB Local Groups are a great way to meet friendly, like-minded people in your area while learning more about birds and wildlife.
If you are an experienced birder or a beginner wanting to learn more about nature, the RSPB Mid Nene Local Group is welcoming to all. We organise regular Indoor Meetings, Coach Trips and Car Outings throughout the year, giving you opportunities to learn about birds and nature in your local area and further afield, alongside visiting new reserves you may not have been to before.
We have members from Northampton, Oundle, Thrapston, Stanwick, Raunds, Higham Ferrers, Irthingborough and all along the Nene Valley. We all have one thing in common: our love of nature and British wildlife.
For more information about our activities and to join the group, email rspbmidnene@gmail.com.

The Mid-Nene Group was established in 1975 and in 2025 we celebrated our 50th Anniversay. Come and join of our upcoming events to hear more about what we do. Our indoor meetings are held through the year, you can hear from guest speakers on various nature and wildlife topics, and meet like minded people.
