30 June – An adult male Kingfisher on the River Bollin, Prestbury sewage works area. Also, a new breeding site for sand martins on this section of the river. Birds still occasionally entering/ leaving the nest holes – approx. 10 birds or so in the group. (Steve McCoskery)

16 June – At Woodford aerodrome there was a male yellow wagtail singing, 10 ring necked parakeets near the new houses and, on a small pool near the bypass, 4 herons 2 of which were juveniles. (Ann Eden)

6 June – On the River Bollin behind the airport, a Dipper. Also, a cuckoo was heard in the woods to the west of Moss Nook Lane, just before Altringham Road and Goldcrest have been seen a few times in this area too. (David Gleave)

April 21 – At Woodford aerodrome today there were young lapwing. Two sets of 4, also a little ringed plover flew down to the small pond on the field and was chased off by the ringed plover. (Ann Eden)
