About Macclesfield Local Group
The RSPB Macclesfield Local Group’s aim is to promote the RSPB locally and to provide its members and friends with an interesting, varied and importantly enjoyable programme of indoor and outdoor meetings throughout the season. The Group actively promotes and encourages collaborative working with other conservation organisations on a local basis for the benefit of the local area as well as fundraising for RSPB’s national conservation goals.
The group indoor meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month except June, July and August. Field trips are usually by car and take place throughout the year to include well known bird watching locations as well as ‘Walks with Nature’ in the local area during April and July.
Meeting times and costs
7.45pm Local Group Members £1.00, Under 18 FREE, all others £5.00. Annual Local Group Membership £15 per person per annum.
