Hello everyone, and a Happy New Year!
We hope you had a restful Christmas break.
As you prepare for the year ahead, perhaps you have some free time. Why not spend it supporting the RSPB’s mission to save nature and join the Lisburn Local Group? You don’t need experience, so whether you’re an advanced ornithologist or a casual birdwatcher, you’re very welcome to join us!
You can become a general group member or choose a committee role. Please tell us which role you’re interested in when you get in contact with us.
Committee Roles Available
Currently, we are looking for people to fill the following roles:
- Community Talks Speaker: Are you a confident public speaker? Well, this role might be for you. You’ll attend community meetings, giving talks about all things birds and nature, promoting the work of the RSPB and our local group.
- Indoor Meetings Organiser: Use your people skills in this role, where you’ll be responsible for organising our group’s indoor events, communicating with a variety of people to ensure our indoor meetings run smoothly.
