Welcome
This is the website of the Hitchin & Letchworth Local Group. RSPB local groups are a great way to meet friendly, like-minded people in your area while learning more about birds and wildlife. We have a full programme of indoor and outdoor meetings for the 2023-24 season, which will soon be available here.
'In the Steps of The Vikings' - Peter Holden MBE
The Faroes, Iceland, Greenland and Canada – just some of the places reached by The Vikings. Peter has followed them, seeking Viking settlements, Viking history and (of course) the special birds of the North Atlantic.
