Coach trip to Minsmere, Sunday 12th May

A lovely reserve with varied habitats comprising woodland, heathland, coast, reedbeds and pools full of wildlife. The reserve has several trails and hides to choose from and you can spend the day looking for young terns and avocets, marsh harriers, hobbies, bearded tits, bitterns, butterflies, dragonflies and otter.   There is an informative visitor centre with a shop and for those wishing to take things easy, there is a good-sized cafeteria to tempt you which also has an outside seating area.

Tickets, costing £27.00 each, are now available and will be on sale at all Group meetings, or you can contact Hazel via email –  Cheques should be made payable to RSPB Gravesend Local Group.

The coach will depart from Gravesend Railway Station, Clive Rd, Gravesend, at 8.00am and leave Minsmere at 4.30pm.

Please be aware that your place will not be reserved until payment is made.  To enable us to pay for the coach, all tickets need to be purchased before Friday 19 April.

For those adults who are not RSPB members there is an entry charge of £9.00 (if you are 16-24 or a child it’s free) so please ensure that you take your RSPB membership card with you.

We look forward to seeing you there!
