About Gravesend Local Group

We aim to connect people to nature in the local area and to communicate the latest news, activities and campaigns. We organise a comprehensive programme of entertaining and informative talks on a variety of subjects throughout the year, with an afternoon session on the fourth Tuesday of the month and an evening meeting on the second Thursday of the month.

We run outdoor walks in and around Kent (approximately twice a month at weekends with a Tuesday walk once a month during the summer). Twice a year we organise a coach trip to a more distant reserve, such as the RSPB reserves at Minsmere and Pulborough Brooks or the WWT reserve at Welney. All are welcome to come along to our meetings and trips – you do not need to be a member and no experience is necessary!

We look forward to welcoming you.
