About Dundee Local Group

We are a small, friendly group with a membership of about 60, who enjoy watching birds and supporting conservation work in the local community.

The group aims to encourage interest in the abundant birdlife of the area, and to support – financially and otherwise – our local RSPB reserve at Loch of Kinnordy.

A Sunday outing is arranged most months, and there are occasional evening outings during the summer. Indoor meetings are held six times a year on Wednesday evenings during September, October, November, January, February and March. There is also an AGM in April, a Christmas social in December and a summer barbecue.

Meeting times and costs

Annual subscription: individual £5, family £8. This includes four newsletters per year and free outdoor meetings. Indoor meetings start at 7.30pm and are held in the Glasite Hall St Andrew’s Parish Church, King Street, Dundee.
