Welcome to the Crawley & Horsham Local Group
The new RSPB Crawley & Horsham Local Group welcomes like-minded people interested in the birds and other wildlife of the Crawley and Horsham greater area. We aim to actively support the work of the RSPB in our local community and involve our members and the wider community in the Society’s conservation, education, and fundraising activities.
To achieve this, we bring a series of outdoor field trips to local nature reserves and sites of particular wildlife interest further away, as well as a varied programme of interesting talks with knowledgeable speakers, with a mix of engaging daytime, evening and weekend events. You can find our current programme of activities in our News section.
Meanwhile, for a first flavour of our programme, please go to our Blog, where you will find articles on our activities to date, as well as thought-provoking features. If, for now, you’d like to explore our local sites, please head for our Local wild places page.
For more information about the group, please email crawley.horsham.rspb@gmail.com.
We look forward to meeting you!
