GROUP WALK – WALLASEA ISLAND with RON JOHNSON
Join us for another enjoyable amble around this lovely reserve with Ron – one of Wallasea’s very knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers.
We’ll be departing from the public car park at 1.45pm for approximately 2 hours. Ron will help to point out and identify the various wildlife species – mainly birds but we’re likely to see hares too, frolicking in the grass.
Unpredictable weather at this time of year means that checking the forecast before you leave home is advisable so you can dress accordingly. We’ll have access to the “executive washroom” before we set off but please allow extra time if you’d like to use it as it’s a little way from the car park. (The portaloo beside the car park is always available for those who prefer to save their legs for the walk itself).
We look forward to seeing you there – no booking required.
