Parc Tredelerch & Rumney Great Wharf / Glanfa Fawr Tredelerch

An area of lake (Lamby Lake) and wetland bursting with wildlife, with a few trails taking you through scrubland, around the lake, and above Rhymney River. If you’re in the mood for a short stroll, simply follow the 1.3km trail around the lake. As you go, watch out for kingfishers, spotted flycatcher, Cetti’s warbler, blackcap, tufted ducks, mute swans, and if you’re lucky, bittern. A few yards along the main road from the park, is Cors Crychydd, a route that takes you along the water course and leads to Rumney Great Wharf seawall, an amazing coastal view and a great place to see waders.

Ardal o lyn (Llyn Lamby) a gwlyptir yn llawn bywyd gwyllt, gyda llwybrau i’w dilyn trwy brysgdir, o amgylch y llyn, ac uwchlaw Afon Rhymni. Os ydych chi awydd dro bach, dilynwch y llwybr 1.3km o amgylch y llyn. Edrychwch am las y dorlan, gwybedog mannog, telor Cetti, telor penddu, hwyaid copog, elyrch dof, ac os ydych yn lwcus, adar y bwn. Ychydig lathenni ar hyd y ffordd fawr o’r parc, mae Cors Crychydd, llwybr sy’n mynd â chi ar hyd y cwrs dŵr ac yn arwain at forglawdd Glanfa Fawr Tredelerch, golygfa arfordirol anhygoel a lle gwych i weld rhydwyr.
