There is now an informal grouping in the Canterbury area to promote the conservation of one of our most rapidly declining, but much loved species – the swift. A new group entitled Kent for Swifts, administered by the RSPB and the CPRE, provides an opportunity to connect with members of other swift groups across Kent and to learn how to use the planning system to help swifts.
Our group hopes to support these initiatives financially, through monitoring, and by promoting the installation of swift boxes. Contact us if you would like to learn more.
