Welcome
This is the website of the Cambridge Local Group. RSPB local groups are a great way to meet friendly, like-minded people in your area while learning more about birds and wildlife. We provide an interesting range of indoor meetings and promote the work and activities of the RSPB. We also work with other RSPB Local Groups to provide other events such as walks, coach trips and fund raising events.
Membership of the Local Group is £15.00 from January to December (£10 for under 18 year olds) and gives you free access to 8 indoor meetings/talks. You also receive newsletters and in winter we sometimes run zoom sessions to save members travelling in bad weather. Please contact RSPBCambridge@outlook.com for more information and how to join.
Up and coming events 2026
The events we are running during 2026 can be seen here and more information (regarding start time and Speaker) is on our FaceBook page (follow the links in the event)
Note that January and February are ZOOM presentations only, so that Members and Guests can view in the comfort of their own home. We do not record the sessions.
