About Brighton & District Local Group

RSPB Brighton & District Local Group was formed in 1974 and has over 100 members.

We have indoor meetings/Illustrated talks to be held at:

Conference Room, top floor (lift available),

Community Base, 113 Queens Rd,

Brighton,

Postcode: BN1 3XG.  (Google Map)

Doors open at 7.00 pm, talk at 7.15pm. £5.00 per person or PWYC incl light refreshments.

We have daytrips by coach to reserves between January to May and September to November and ‘easy going’ mid-week walks in our local area (second Wednesday of the month, suggested donation of £1 for group members and £3 for non-group members).

The group’s aim is to run a comprehensive programme which encourages people to remain members of the RSPB and raise money to help save nature in the southeast.

Non-members are welcome to attend our events.
