Indoor Meetings

Indoor monthly meetings, which are open to everyone with an interest in Wildlife & Conservation, are held in:

Cooke Centenary Presbyterian Church Hall
Park Road, Belfast BT7 2FW

…starting promptly at 19:30, ending 21:15

The illustrated talks are always interesting & varied. During Refreshments, there is time for a chat with the Speaker & with one another.

There is an Annual Membership of £25 or pay £5 at the door on each visit. This is inclusive of Refreshments. Please bring your own mug. There will be a surcharge for a disposable mug! Be eco-friendly. As part of our Fundraising activities, RSPB pin badges & other goods will often be available at meetings. Come prepared to buy!

Please read the guidelines before attending our indoor meetings.

Zoom Meetings; NI Local Groups

In Lockdown years, 2020-2022, we shared interesting Zoom meetings with the other NI Local Groups. This year we invite other NI LG members & guests to share in our Zoom meeting on 5 February 2024.

Outdoor Meetings/Field Trips

These are to local places with a particular interest or habitat, usually once a month, usually on the 3rd Saturday, with a knowledgeable Leader. Details will be announced at meetings, emailed or posted on social media. To keep numbers manageable, Outings must be booked in advance and, in the event of oversubscription, preference for places will be given to those who have an Annual Membership of RSPB Belfast Local Group. (See past outings.)

For further & updated information, please refer frequently to our website or our Facebook group, RSPB Belfast Local Group Loves Nature. This is a private Facebook group; admission is by application. We like members to be wildlife enthusiasts who live locally and who will post pictures, discuss wildlife sightings & interact with others on site and, most importantly, support our Meetings or Outings by their presence. We range from interested amateurs to wildlife experts.
