About Basingstoke Local Group

The group’s aim is to actively support the work of the RSPB in the local community and to involve RSPB members and the wider public in the Society’s conservation, public affairs, education, fundraising and other activities.

We have indoor meetings on the third Wednesday of each month from September to May and monthly outdoor meetings as well as an evening walks programme and regular weekend trips to local nature reserves and further afield.

So if you would like to have fun and meet like minded people contact us and help make a difference for birds and wildlife.

Membership Adults £15 per year, Children under 16 free when accompanied by an adult, Students 16-24 free.

We can also give talks on birds, nature and the RSPB to community groups in the local area.

Meeting times and costs

All indoor meetings start at 7.45pm. Admission £1.00 for local group members, £3.50 for non-members.
