Group Outing – Loch of Strathbeg

RSPB Loch of Strathbeg will be the location for the next local group outing, on Sunday the 24th of March. We will meet at the visitor centre at 10am, and the target species are wintering geese, swans and ducks.

Full details on the reserve, including how to get there, can be found at https://www.rspb.org.uk/days-out/reserves/loch-of-strathbeg

Rob Leslie will be leading this outing, so please contact him with any queries. The paths around the reserve are generally well surfaced, and level. We will start at the visitor centre and the hides overlooking the low ground, and then depending on the weather and what’s about, after lunch we may move round towards Rattray and the South end of the loch, to scan from there.

All are welcome to attend, and you’re free to stay for as long as you like.
