About Aberdeen & District Local Group
The Aberdeen & District Local Group is for anyone with an interest in wildlife and birdwatching.
Membership of the group is not essential to attend our events. However, if you enjoy the experience, it is hoped that membership will follow.
Membership costs £5 per year in addition to RSPB national membership.
Field trips take place on Sundays and midweek, and are suitable for all ages, whether you’re an experienced birder or not. Please bring warm and waterproof clothing, stout footwear, binoculars, and refreshments. Note that ticks are becoming more common, so the use of insect repellent is recommended.
